Ferati described the collection of signatures as a democratic action by those with different opinions, but added that serious personalities do not aim to obstruct the creation of institutions.
He called for calm from branch chairmen and officials who are making public statements. “The LDK belongs to everyone, not individuals. The statute obliges us to handle issues within party bodies and not to disturb citizens with our debates,” Ferati said.
The secretary clarified that not all MPs are members of the Presidency and stressed that chairman Lumir Abdixhiku speaks on behalf of the 18 LDK MPs. “There are no LDK MPs who will break the parliamentary group,” he declared.
Ferati further announced that technical discussions with the Vetëvendosje Movement will continue, while the main goal remains identifying a common program in the interest of Kosovo’s citizens.
