Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on Sunday, July 12, that he has proposed the dismissal of Prime Minister Yulia Svirydenko, according to a Reuters report.
In a post on the X platform, Zelensky expressed gratitude to Svirydenko, praising her “clear, steady and effective” work in leading the government, as well as the years she has devoted to serving Ukraine.

The Ukrainian president also signaled that Svirydenko could take on an important new role in Ukraine’s relations with one of its key partners, but did not provide further details about the position.
Meanwhile, Zelensky has not yet announced who will be proposed for the post of prime minister, as further developments are expected regarding changes in the Ukrainian government.
