Protest in Front of the Prime Minister’s Office, Demonstrators Topple Rama Bust: “A Surprise for the Last Dictator” on His 62nd Birthday

Beneath the Prime Minister’s Office building, protesters chose another form of reaction to demand Rama’s removal.

At the scene, they placed a bust of Rama, which they then toppled, linking this action to the student revolt and to the moment when Enver Hoxha’s bust was brought down.

“Today, on his 62nd birthday, we have a surprise for the last dictator,” they said.
