As colder air penetrates from the north, the rain is expected to turn into snow on some of the higher mountain peaks. Moderate to strong winds will blow from the north, felt most strongly along the Vardar river valley.
As for temperatures, minimums will range between 7 and 13 degrees, while maximums will reach values of 10 to 16 degrees.
The capital Skopje will also have cloudy skies, colder weather and occasional rain. Moderate winds will blow from the north in the valley areas, occasionally reaching strong intensity. Thermometers there will read 11 degrees as the minimum and 14 degrees as the maximum.
Unstable weather with cloudy skies and lower temperatures will dominate throughout the week as well. Friday brings occasional local rain, which will turn into snow on some of the higher mountains. A strong wind will blow from the north, with speeds exceeding 60 kilometers per hour.
