The US ambassador arrived at SPAK accompanied by members of the delegation and other US officials.
The delegation was received at the premises of the Special Prosecution Office.
It is worth recalling that just four days ago, the US diplomat met with the two heads of the justice institutions.
In its announcement about the meeting, the embassy stressed that “the fight against transnational crime, drug trafficking and illegal migration is among President Donald Trump’s top priorities.”
The embassy also stressed: “Ambassador Eric Wendt met with SPAK leaders to discuss the decisive role of independent institutions in addressing these challenges and how our partnership contributes to a safer and more prosperous future for both our nations.”
