The app will be available for free download for Android users on Google Play and for iOS users on the App Store. Users will log in through their existing profiles on the national portal uslugi.gov.mk.
At launch, citizens will be able to access their ID cards, driving licences and three other administrative services electronically.
According to Minister Andonovski, the aim is for “m.Uslugi” to gradually become a complete digital wallet. Future developments are expected to include health data, along with other documents and public services.
Activating the app will remain a choice for citizens. At the same time, the responsible institutions will need to gradually update secondary legislation, internal procedures and technical capacities so that digital documents can be accepted without difficulty during everyday interactions with citizens.
