The deputy of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Arben Gashi, has described the cooperation between the Vetëvendosje Movement and PDK, which enabled the election of the new President, as a development that could mark the end of a transition and the start of a new political stage in Kosovo.

According to him, the coming months will show whether the country has truly entered this new cycle. Gashi also stressed that agreements between parties should no longer be treated as a reason for demonizing opposing forces.
“After the latest formal cooperation between LVV and PDK, the time has come for political cooperation to no longer be a reason for demonizing opponents. What matters is what we cooperate on and what we deliver for the country. Now is the time for governance to be measured by results, not by excuses and blaming the past. Citizens expect development, security, and hope for the future.”
Speaking about the LDK, Gashi said the party must define its political direction in this phase without ambiguity.
“Without permanent red lines, but with clear principles. We do not forget the past, but we must not hold the future hostage to it. This is where our rebirth begins: with more confidence, unity, and a modern politics that represents citizens and gives them hope for the future. The time is now. The time is for the LDK,” he declared.
