Invited to the “Top Story” program, Qyno said the investigation is still in its early stages and that prosecutors are gathering and comparing data from various sources, including electronic communications and documentation administered during searches.
According to the journalist, in such cases SPAK begins with searches of homes and offices, while phones, emails and communications found are subsequently verified. This data is compared with official documents and contracts administered during the investigation.
“SPAK has from time to time pursued it in the initial cases that I have called the blitz strategy, because it carries out that quick search of homes and offices and then of phones. It also examines emails, and after taking these actions, it then begins to analyze all communications. At the same time, it compares them with the documentary part, such as contracts.
Because in the offices of the Ministry of Defense, and even at KAYO, a series of contracts have been seized that were concluded with private individuals for the purpose of providing services for the benefit of KAYO.
Now the investigation is in its initial phase and a clear picture cannot be given of who those responsible are. What is known is that by a court decision the prosecution has been authorized to carry out seizures. The names initially mentioned on September 7 of this year became the subject of the prosecution’s investigation, such as Rony Yeffet,” said Qyno.
