Chargé d’affaires of the United States Embassy in Kosovo, Anu Prattipati, held a meeting with KFOR Commander Major General Ozkan Ulutash, whose mandate is expected to end next month.

The meeting was held on Monday in Pristina. According to the US Embassy, Prattipati expressed gratitude for Ulutash’s leadership of the KFOR mission and his commitment to ensuring a safe and stable environment for all communities in Kosovo.
The US Embassy’s statement said that Anu Prattipati met with Major General Ozkan Ulutash as he prepares to complete his duties at the helm of KFOR next month.
The US Embassy emphasized that the thanks extended to Ulutaş were related to his leadership of the mission and his dedication to maintaining security and stability for all communities in Kosovo.
During the meeting, the United States once again reaffirmed its support for the KFOR mission.
“The United States remains committed to supporting the KFOR mission, with the aim of contributing to the preservation of stability in Kosovo and the region,” the US Embassy said in a statement.
The meeting took place shortly before the end of Major General Ozkan Ulutash’s mandate as commander of NATO’s mission in Kosovo.
