A warehouse storing paints and varnishes caught fire this afternoon in the Zhelezara neighborhood of Skopje, along Aleksandar Makedonski Boulevard.

The Crisis Management Center (CMC) said that six fire engines and 20 firefighters had been deployed to extinguish the fire.
According to CMC data, at 5:10 p.m. the Fire Brigade teams were at the scene, while the fire was still active.
No injuries have been reported so far. The cause of the fire and the extent of the material damage are also still unknown.
Because of the materials stored in the warehouse, the response is being carried out with heightened caution. Further information is expected to be made public by the relevant services after the operation is completed.
