After standing for several minutes in Skanderbeg Square, the crowd of protesters continued marching toward the Prime Minister’s Office.

The protesters, who were carrying flags, said that the country is being governed by an anti-national government.
During the protest, citizens accused those in power of having created two realities: one for themselves, where they live in luxurious conditions, and another for ordinary Albanians, who face major economic difficulties.
Among the protesters’ chants were “Oh Erion, you scoundrel, stop Rama, he’s coming” and “Revolution.”
Meanwhile, their placards carried messages such as “Resign” and “You steal in hospitals, you steal from pensions, you steal without a shred of shame, pilaf in orphanages.”
