From 23 to 29 September 2026, Dibra will host the 25th edition of the “Albanian Theatre in Macedonia” Festival. The Culture Center – Dibra will open its doors to this event, which marks 25 years of tradition, artistic collaboration and contribution to the promotion of Albanian theatre.

The public will have the opportunity to attend a diverse programme featuring theatres from Skopje, Tetovo, Kumanovo, Preshevo, Vlora and Gostivar. The festival repertoire includes works by Samuel Beckett, Martin McDonagh, Joe Orton and Sarah Kane.
The festival will close on 29 September with the performance “Psychosis”, produced by the Culture Center – Dibra and based on motifs from Sarah Kane. The adaptation and direction are by Besfort Idrizi, while this participation places Dibra in the role of an active creator, in addition to hosting the event.
With its jubilee edition, the festival confirms its continuity and importance in the city’s cultural life. Through it, professional theatre draws closer to the public, meetings among artists are encouraged, and Dibra strengthens its place in the calendar of Albanian theatre events./InfoShqip.com/
