Albania and its Armed Forces will continue to contribute to the KFOR mission in Kosovo, with the aim of supporting security and stability in the region.

Arben Kingji, Chief of the General Staff of the Albanian Armed Forces, held a meeting with KFOR Commander Major General Özkan Ulutaş, who is completing his term at the helm of NATO’s mission in Kosovo.
During the meeting, Ulutaş’s leadership and his contribution to carrying out NATO’s duties in Kosovo were praised.
According to Kingji, the meeting addressed the continuation of KFOR’s commitment to enhancing security in Kosovo and maintaining regional stability.
“Albania’s and the Armed Forces’ commitment to fulfilling their obligations within the framework of this important NATO operation was also reaffirmed,” Kingji said.
