While the young man was lying on the ground, several officers forcibly grabbed him and dragged him toward another area, preventing anyone from approaching. The police brutally assaulted him, hitting him with a rubber baton, fists and kicks.
Additional police forces have been deployed near the Prime Minister’s Office, on “Dëshmorët e Kombit” Boulevard. A very large amount of tear gas has been used against the protesters.
