This Monday, former AKSHI head Mirlinda Karçanaj appeared at the premises of the Special Prosecutor’s Office (SPAK), accompanied by her lawyer, where she stayed for around 3 hours and 20 minutes.
Karçanaj was placed under house arrest at SPAK’s request in connection with the investigation into the AKSHI case, a measure that was changed by the Supreme Court to “obligation to report.”

The former AKSHI head is required to report to SPAK twice a month, on the first and third Tuesday of each month.
SPAK’s investigation into the AKSHI case has continued at a rapid pace during this period, with the arrest of businessman Ergys Agasi at the end of August and his connections with former SHISH head Vlora Hyseni, who was placed under house arrest, emerging as key developments.
