Chaos erupted on a Ryanair flight bound for the United Kingdom when a drunk passenger became involved in a scuffle with police officers who intervened to ease tensions after an argument with his partner.
Passengers on board were left shocked, while the video shows the man, whom witnesses said was drunk, punching a police officer in the face.

“They were very drunk before we set off from Edinburgh. There was an argument between the couple and that is where it all started. Some passengers were frightened and were left shaken by what happened,” one of the travelers said.
Footage appears to show that after the initial incident, three police officers try to bring the man under control, holding him down on the floor while one of them remains on top of him to immobilize him.
The video also shows one of the officers attempting to subdue him with blows, while another uses a police baton during the intervention.
Earlier, Ryanair chief executive Michael O’Leary said that almost every day a flight is forced to divert because of incidents caused by disruptive passengers.
He has called for a limit of two alcoholic drinks per passenger at airport bars, stressing that he does not understand why travelers are served alcohol in the early hours of the morning.
