U.S. Embassy on protest in Tirana: Citizens should protest lawfully and peacefully

Sources for Euronews Albania close to the Embassy of the United States of America have commented on the situation that arose during the protest in Tirana, stressing the need for gatherings to be held in accordance with the law and peacefully.

“We call on citizens participating in protests to express their views lawfully and peacefully. Violent actions do not constitute civic engagement,” the response relayed by Euronews Albania sources says.
