During the “Tikveshki Grozdober” cultural event in Kavadar, police detained two people, the Ministry of Interior announced.

The incident occurred on September 4 at around 8:50 p.m., when police officers stopped G.P. (42) and V.Ç. (42), both residents of Kavadar. During the search, officers found and seized a white powdery substance from G.P. Police also confiscated a white powdery substance, money and a phone from V.Ç.
Further checks found that both individuals were under the influence of alcohol. G.P. recorded 0.53 promille, while V.Ç. had 0.44 promille of alcohol in his blood.
“The individuals were detained at a police station, the public prosecutor was notified, and once the incident has been documented, an appropriate criminal report will be filed against them,” the police statement said.
