A shocking incident has shaken the city of Cagliari in Italy, where a 52-year-old man attempted to kill the owner of a dance school after she refused to admit him to a flamenco course. Immediately after the attack, he ended his life.
According to preliminary investigations by Italian police, the 52-year-old had for days expressed his wish to enroll in that course, but his requests were repeatedly refused. On Saturday morning, after receiving yet another rejection, he returned to the school premises carrying a 12-gauge shotgun, a weapon for which he had a license.

He shot at the woman, but the bullet missed her. The owner, along with a witness, managed to run inside the building and thus escaped injury.
Right after the attempted murder, the aggressor turned the weapon on himself and fired, causing his death on the spot.
Law enforcement and an ambulance arrived quickly at the scene, but there was no chance of saving the 52-year-old.
