Brent crude oil prices climbed to $94.7 per barrel, marking the highest point in the last six weeks. During the day, the increase reached nearly 4%, while the current value is about $22 higher compared to the period before the outbreak of hostilities.

The uncertainty weighing on supply chains is directly impacting markets, as the Strait of Hormuz, a vital artery for global fuel shipping, is experiencing significant restrictions due to rising tensions and attacks in the area.

The British gas market has also seen a strong surge, reaching a new quarterly record. In addition to supply constraints, this trend has been fueled by increased energy consumption in Europe, due to high temperatures that have significantly raised the use of cooling equipment.

Analysts warn that a continuation of the tense situation in the Middle East could keep energy prices under constant pressure in the coming weeks.
