Euronews journalist Eni Ferhati reported from “Dëshmorët e Kombit” Boulevard that clashes between protesters and police are continuing.

According to him, operational forces and plainclothes officers have begun detaining people taking part in the protest.
Ferhati said that, although it had appeared the gathering had dispersed, protesters had regrouped on the boulevard. He reported that some of them attempted to approach the Prime Minister’s Office but were met with tear gas. A police vehicle also passed through the area and was hit with stones by protesters.
The journalist said that two people had been detained near the Ministry of the Interior, while other detentions had also been reported near Shallvaret. Meanwhile, protesters have called for people to return to the area near the Prime Minister’s Office.
According to him, many of the protesters were carrying masks, water, saline solutions and other equipment to confront the police response. Ferhati added that law enforcement authorities had begun investigating claims made by the police and political actors regarding the protest.
