Special Court sentences Plaurent Dervishaj to life imprisonment, 35 years in prison for Julian Meçaj

Plaurent Dervishaj has been sentenced to life imprisonment by the Special Court Against Corruption and Organized Crime, while Julian Meçaj has received a 35-year prison sentence. Both were found guilty over the attack on former prosecutor Arjan Ndoja and Aleksandër Laho.

The incident was recorded on November 1, 2019, near the Shkozet overpass. Arjan Ndoja and Aleksandër Laho were wounded in the gun attack, while the former prosecutor’s driver, Andi Maloku, lost his life several days later in hospital.
