At the age of 71, US Republican Senator Lindsey Graham passed away completely unexpectedly, just hours after returning from an official mission to Ukraine.
Although his office announced that he passed away following a “short and sudden illness”, the circumstances of the event are now under investigation by authorities.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has joined the investigation to support local forces, according to US press reports.
FBI Director Kash Patel stated that the agency has made “every necessary resource” available to assist in clarifying the case, but so far there is no indication leading to a criminal act.
Preliminary data show that emergency services were dispatched to Graham’s residence in Washington following a report of chest discomfort. Upon arrival, the medical team found the senator in cardiac arrest and immediately began resuscitation procedures, which unfortunately were unsuccessful. The official cause of death will be determined after forensic analysis.
The FBI’s involvement has fueled reactions and speculation on social media platforms, although authorities have not reported any fact linking the senator’s death to criminal activities. The investigation continues to fully clarify the situation.

Just one day before his death, Graham had held a meeting in Kyiv with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
