After approximately two hours of speeches held in front of the Prime Minister’s Office, the protest entered a new phase. The gathered citizens began a large-scale march along the main thoroughfares of the capital, extending even toward the area known as the Former Block.
As they traversed this part of the city, which is filled with cafes and restaurants, the demonstrators openly expressed their demand for the immediate removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama and the entire government cabinet.
