Analyst Rron Gjinovci has reacted to Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama’s stance on Serbia, accusing him of supporting Belgrade even on the issue involving Ratko Mladić.

Gjinovci’s criticism concerns Rama’s statement that Serbia should not be isolated but should instead be included at the discussion table. According to the prime minister, Serbia must be made to understand that it cannot organize a state funeral for a “butcher.”
“Even in the case of Mladić, Edi Rama supports Serbia. He says it shouldn’t be isolated but should be invited to the table and told that it cannot do that,” Gjinovci wrote.
Rama said: “Serbia is a very interesting and strange kind of animal in the jungle of the Western Balkans. What is better? To have it at the table and tell it: ‘You cannot hold a state funeral for a butcher,’ or to leave it there, in uncertain waters, and let it create a schizophrenic situation between Europe, China, America and Russia?”
