Protest Against Rama: Citizens March in Tirana, “Your End Has Come,” Albania Calls for Revolution

Protests against the government have continued for 79 days, as citizens demand Edi Rama’s unconditional resignation.

During the marches through the streets of Tirana, chants can be heard such as “Your end has come,” “Edi Rama, resign,” “Albania calls for revolution,” “Down with the patronage activists,” and “Down with the Soros supporters.”

The civic revolt has spread against the entire political class. On August 14, 15 and 16, the Diaspora also joined the protest.
