A Delta Airlines plane that arrived this morning at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport underwent immediate checks by security forces, following an anonymous call warning of the presence of a “suspicious” object on board.

Passengers on the flight that had departed from New York were quickly evacuated from the plane as soon as it touched down on the runway, while the aircraft was towed to an isolated area of the airport to undergo full security procedures.
According to an announcement by the Israel Airports Authority, after detailed verifications “nothing unusual” was found.
“The aircraft underwent a full check by security teams at Ben Gurion Airport,” the Authority said, emphasizing that “activity at the airport has already returned to normal.”
