In a statement, LSDM claims that the internal party grouping “ZNAM 2.0” was not formed to encourage public discussion, but with the aim of striking the party from within.
According to the party, the positions expressed by Igor Ivanovski prove that this platform was not created for debates about the future of the state, but for the destruction of LSDM.

“After the failure of ZNAM, Mickoski is now trying to weaken LSDM through a repackaged project and shift the public debate from the government’s crimes to LSDM’s internal issues,” the party’s statement said.
LSDM also stresses that “ZNAM 2.0” supports abolishing the direct election of the party leadership by the membership, which, it says, constitutes an attack on internal party democracy.
“Democracy in LSDM bothers them, so they are demanding the removal of the highest democratic act — the right of members to directly elect their leadership. They would prefer for this to happen behind closed doors,” the statement continued.
The party adds that these attempts to weaken it will not work and that, as it puts it, it will confront “all of Mickoski’s satellites and his organized criminal group.”
