Thirty-two packages containing narcotics were discovered at Idrizovo Prison during the inspection of a parcel sent to a 48-year-old inmate.

According to the Interior Ministry, on August 9, 2026, at 1:40 p.m., the Skopje Police Department was informed by Idrizovo Correctional Facility that at around 11:00 a.m., during an inspection of a parcel intended for O.M. (48) from Kumanovo, 32 packages of marijuana were found and seized.
The narcotics were seized by police officers and taken for further processing. Once the case has been fully documented, the appropriate charges are expected to be filed, the Interior Ministry said./Telegrafi/
