The National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo (IKSHPK) has issued a call for increased awareness about HIV, highlighting the importance of education, testing, and early medical intervention.
In a message shared on the Facebook platform, IKSHPK reminded that this is an infection that can be avoided and that catching it in the early stages ensures efficient therapy, as well as a long and high-quality life.

The Institute emphasized the necessity of combating the prejudices that burden people affected by HIV, calling for more understanding and concrete support for the prevention and management of this infection.
The full statement reads: “HIV is an infection that can be prevented. Early diagnosis and timely treatment enable a long and quality life. Get informed, get tested, and protect yourself and others. Together against stigma and discrimination.”
