Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy Albrim Hoxha visited the ministry’s regional office in Kumanovo, where he spoke with staff and farmers from the region.

The visit also included the distribution of green diesel cards under Measure 10 of the 2026 Programme for Financial Support in Agriculture.
A total of 3,641 cards will be distributed in the area administered by the Kumanovo regional office, which also covers the municipalities of Lipkovo and Staro Nagoričane. The total value of the support amounts to 33,227,969 denars.
A total of 564 million denars has been allocated to implement this measure nationwide, covering 48,037 cards. The amount each farmer receives is calculated based on the area of land and the crop grown, ranging from 3,200 to 12,000 denars per hectare.
Hoxha said the high costs of agricultural production made support through the green diesel programme necessary to ease the financial burden on farmers. He also praised their daily work and dedication, stressing that domestic production relies on farmers’ commitment.
During the meeting, the deputy minister also expressed his gratitude to employees of the Kumanovo regional office for their commitment to providing services to farmers and implementing support measures.
