The tender procedure for the construction of the wastewater treatment plant in Tetovo has been completed, and the company that will carry out this project has now been selected, according to a statement from the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning following today’s press conference by Minister Muamet Hoxha.
According to Hoxha, preparations are under way for the start of the project’s implementation, while construction work on the ground is expected to begin in the coming months. He stressed that the project is worth more than 30 million euros and that its implementation should be completed within two years.

The minister also stressed that the construction of this plant in Tetovo, combined with the projects in Skopje, Veles and Shtip, will mean that around 75 percent of the country’s territory will be covered by a wastewater treatment system.
