During a meeting with Auditor General Vlora Spanca, the Speaker of the Kosovo Assembly, Albulena Haxhiu, highlighted the role of National Audit Office reports in parliamentary oversight. She announced that during its eleventh legislative term, the Assembly would give these reports serious consideration and hold institutions accountable for implementing audit recommendations.

According to the Assembly Speaker, managing public funds requires transparency, and citizens have the right to know where every euro collected through the taxes they pay goes.
In a public post, Haxhiu stressed that accountability is an obligation for institutions and a fundamental principle of the rule of law, not a matter of choice.
