Ramush Haradinaj, former Prime Minister of Kosovo, announced that he had welcomed a delegation from the United States of America to Gllogjan as part of activities marking July 4, US Independence Day.
Members of the delegation included professors Daniel Serwer and Edward Joseph, as well as Mario Marquez, Ramiz Tafilaj and other Albanian-Americans. Haradinaj honored Daniel Serwer and Mario Marquez with the medal “With Faith in God, Homeland and State.”

In honor of July 4, the Independence Day of the United States of America, in Gllogjan we had the honor of welcoming the delegation from America, composed of Prof. Daniel Serwer, Prof. Edward Joseph, Mario Marquez and Ramiz Tafilaj, as well as other respected Albanian-Americans.
Their commitment to Kosovo is highly valuable for the course and orientations toward restoring the strategic partnership with allies, especially with the United States of America.
With respect and gratitude for their continued support for Kosovo at all stages, I dedicated the medal “With Faith in God, Homeland and State” to Mr. Daniel Serwer and Mr. Mario Marquez.
