Kurbin police have made public some of the circumstances surrounding the gun attack that took place in the city last night, in which 40-year-old Ilir Gjini was the target. According to reporting by journalist Xhensila Kodra for BalkanWeb, Gjini also used three other surnames: alias Lika, alias Kokaj and alias Nure.

At around 22:10, in the town of Kurbin, gunfire was directed at citizen I.Gj alias I. L., alias I.K, alias I. N, around 40 years old. He was rushed to the Trauma Hospital, but died on the way.
Immediately after being notified, police forces arrived at the scene and are continuing extensive checks in the area to find and arrest the perpetrator or perpetrators.
At the same time, a special investigative team has been set up, which, under the direction of the Prosecution, is working to secure every piece of evidence that may assist the investigation, with the aim of fully clarifying and legally documenting the incident, as well as identifying and capturing the perpetrator or perpetrators.
