According to Azizi, the commemoration will provide an opportunity to analyze the results achieved over the past 25 years, as well as to discuss the country’s future, the prospects of the younger generation, and the European Union integration process.

“Why beyond? Because we will begin looking at what awaits us beyond the 25 years since the signing of the Ohrid Agreement. We will consider what the future holds for our children and our young people, and the path we will chart toward the European Union,” Azizi said.

The program includes three panels featuring prominent political figures from North Macedonia and abroad. The discussions will focus on the European Union, cohesion, local government, decentralization, sustainable peace, and the Ohrid Agreement.

The government spokesperson emphasized that the discussions aim to provide a clearer picture of what awaits the country over the next 25 years, without overlooking the journey and the work accomplished during the past quarter-century.

“Through these panels, we will seek to identify all the points that will give us a vision of what awaits us over the next 25 years, while also reflecting on the past and what we have accomplished during these 25 years,” Azizi stated.

The second planned activity is the main ceremony at the Stone Bridge in Skopje, which will be organized by the Ministry for Relations Between Communities, headed by Minister Agon Ferati, and the government. The program includes performances, cultural and artistic activities, and official speeches, while members of the diplomatic corps are also expected to attend.

The anniversary commemoration will also include a ceremonial session at the Government of North Macedonia, chaired by First Deputy Prime Minister Bekim Sali.
