Retail prices of petroleum products will decrease by an average of 2.06% compared with the previous calculation, according to a decision by the Energy, Water Services and Municipal Waste Management Services Regulatory Commission (ERC).

The new prices will take effect on September 1 at 00:01. Diesel and extra-light household fuel oil will become significantly cheaper, while petrol prices will rise.
The price of EURODIESEL (D-E V) will decrease by 6.50 denars per liter to 95.00 denars per liter.
Extra-light household fuel oil (EL-1) will cost 97.00 denars per liter following a reduction of 3.50 denars per liter.
EUROSUPER BS-95 will rise by 1.00 denar per liter, bringing the price to 94.00 denars per liter.
EUROSUPER BS-98 will also increase by 1.00 denar per liter, with the new price set at 96.00 denars per liter.
The price of M-1 NS fuel oil has been reduced by 1.166 denars per kilogram and will now be sold at 44.410 denars per kilogram.
The ERC said reference prices for petrol on the global market had increased by 2.212%. Meanwhile, diesel prices fell by 8.237%, extra-light fuel oil by 4.389%, and fuel oil by 2.793%. The denar’s exchange rate against the US dollar decreased by 0.5477%.
The Commission clarified that these are maximum prices. Wholesalers and retailers may sell petroleum products at prices below the established limits.
