The mayor of the Municipality of Saraj, Muhamet Elmazi, welcomed the approval of the City of Skopje’s budget rebalance, describing it as an important step toward implementing the projects promised to the municipality’s residents.

According to him, the approved document provides for significant infrastructure investments in Saraj, including the construction of a new bridge and roundabout, the opening of new roads, and the implementation of other projects important to residents.
Elmazi thanked the mayor of the City of Skopje, Orce Gjorgjievski, and the council members who voted in favor of the budget rebalance, emphasizing that the approved projects are directly linked to the interests of Saraj residents.
“What we promise, we deliver!” Elmazi said, adding that the inclusion of these projects in the budget marks only the beginning of a broader commitment to improving infrastructure and living conditions in the municipality.
He stressed that the commitments would be put into practice through works and investments, describing the decision as a first step toward fulfilling the promises made.
According to Elmazi, cooperation between the Municipality of Saraj and the City of Skopje will continue in the future, with a focus on implementing concrete projects for residents.
“Together, we are developing Saraj. What we promised, we will deliver!” Elmazi emphasized.
