“New Albania” and “Edi Rama resign” were some of the chants that dominated the protest held this Saturday in Tirana calling for Prime Minister Rama to step down. With historic turnout, protesters continue their march through the streets of Tirana. During the rally, protesters stressed that the protest is peaceful and that their goal is the resignation of the head of government.
“We are not here for violence. We are here only for Rama’s resignation. The patronage workers who are here should leave,” some of the participants said.
