A tragic incident occurred in Kërçovë, where a 37-year-old man lost his life as a result of a fire that engulfed his apartment yesterday afternoon. Authorities confirmed that the victim was found lifeless after the flames were extinguished.

According to an official statement from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the case was reported around 6:55 p.m. on July 21 at the Kërçovë Police Station. The local firefighting unit had received information that an apartment on “4 Korriku” Street had been engulfed by fire. After the intervention to neutralize the flames, emergency teams discovered the deceased body of S.S., a resident of Kërçovë, inside the premises.
The death of the 37-year-old was verified by personnel from the Emergency Medical Service, while the crime scene inspection was carried out under the direction of the public prosecutor and investigative teams from SPB Kërçovë.
