This afternoon, a sudden brawl at one of Tirana’s busiest locations ended with a 39-year-old man being injured after a bladed weapon was used.

Tirana Police said the incident was recorded at around 6:15 p.m., specifically at the entrance to Tirana Castle, near the pedestrian area. During the confrontation, the citizen identified by the initials B. D., aged around 39, was struck with a cutting tool.
Immediately after being injured, he was rushed to hospital to receive medical treatment. His condition is currently reported to be out of danger and he remains under doctors’ observation.
Police services arrived at the scene without delay and launched a search operation in the area aimed at identifying and arresting the persons involved. An investigative team is continuing its work to fully clarify the circumstances of the conflict and ensure the legal documentation of the case.
