CMC: Of 27 reported fires, two remain active, three are under control and 22 have been extinguished

A total of 27 fires were reported across the country over the past 24 hours. The Crisis Management Center announced this morning that two remain active, three have been brought under control, while 22 have been extinguished.

One of the active fires is in the Municipality of Mavrovo and Rostuše, near the Golem Brdaš area, where the flames have engulfed a mountain. The other fire was reported in the Municipality of Šuto Orizari, near Vizbegovo and behind the New Star Hotel, where a landfill is burning.

The fires under control are the one above the village of Paligrad–Preslap in the Municipality of Zelenikovo, the one near the village of Kopanica in the Municipality of Saraj, and the fire in the Municipality of Struga, near the villages of Piskupština, Burinec and Lokov./Telegrafi/
