Political analyst Blerim Burjani has criticized the way the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) is acting. He assesses that this party is focusing more on its internal developments than on the constitution of state institutions, reports “Bota sot”.

According to Burjani, the priority the LDK is giving to the election of its chairman, instead of the creation of state institutions, shows that it is not behaving as a state-forming party. He warns that the political crisis within it would continue even if Lumir Abdixhiku were to be dismissed.
Burjani asserts that within the ranks of the LDK there is no political figure with the necessary qualities to simultaneously lead both the party and the state. According to him, the party can organize internal elections, but such a process does not guarantee that a solution will be found for the problems it faces.
