The newly elected member on the Vetëvendosje Movement list, Mefail Bajqinovci, has expressed his conviction that any prosecutor, police officer, or civil servant who abandoned their duty following Belgrade’s call must remain outside Kosovo’s state structures.

In a reaction published on social media, he stressed that the state needs citizens who remain committed to the constitutional order and legal norms.
“No prosecutor, police official, or civil servant who left their duty on Serbia’s orders should be readmitted to the institutions of the Republic,” Bajqinovci wrote.
He added that Kosovo needs people loyal to the Constitution and legislation, not individuals who, at key moments, chose to obey Belgrade’s directives.
