An armed incident was recorded at a high school in Bavaria, Germany, leaving several people injured.
According to Bavarian police, the episode took place at the Welfen-Gymnasium high school in the city of Schongau, while authorities announced that a 16-year-old has been arrested in connection with the attack.

Police said that two girls suffered serious injuries, while the full number of those hurt has not yet been determined. German media, including Bild, report that the number of injured is fewer than ten.
Investigators are also examining the possibility that the incident could be classified as a so-called “Amoklauf,” a term used in Germany for violent attacks carried out in an uncontrolled manner against people at the scene.
Schongau is a small town in western Bavaria with around 12,000 residents, while the Welfen-Gymnasium school, where the incident occurred, is attended by about 800 students.
Meanwhile, authorities have opened an investigation to clarify the motives and all the full circumstances of this incident.
