Dan Jukes, an adviser to Nigel Farage, and James Orr, head of policy for the party, resigned while Reform UK has opened an internal investigation into the allegations.
According to footage obtained with hidden cameras, Jukes is alleged to have proposed ways to circumvent British law restrictions in order to secure a foreign donation worth 500,000 pounds. The reporting also includes a conversation about funding political polling.
The party has rejected the accusations, describing the reporting as a “sting”. Reform UK has stated that the review of the matter will be carried out independently.
The issue has also been referred to the Metropolitan Police by the Labour Party and the Liberal Democrats. The police have announced that they will assess the information received.
