A home in Gostivar was engulfed in flames, while three people, including two police officers, sought emergency medical attention, the Tetovo Sector for Internal Affairs said.

According to the statement, on 05.08.2026 at 17:15, a fire was reported to the Gostivar Police Department at the home of G.S. (36), located on “18 November” Street in Gostivar.
The fire was extinguished by a crew from the Gostivar Territorial Firefighting Unit. After inhaling smoke, H.Xh. from Gostivar and two Gostivar Police Department officers who had assisted during the intervention went for a medical examination at the Gostivar Emergency Center.
The Tetovo Sector for Internal Affairs also said that a team from the Gostivar Police Department had inspected the scene.
