As she entered the show’s kitchen, host Poh Ling Yeow asked her, “Shall I call you Duchess?” Meghan replied, “Oh, call me Meghan. Absolutely, yes.”
The 44-year-old Duchess of Sussex appeared on the show following her visit to Australia with Prince Harry in April, the Daily Mail reports. She spoke emotionally about her connection to the country, recalling that during their first visit there eight years ago, she and Harry announced that they were expecting their first child, Archie.
During the cooking challenge, the contestants prepared dishes inspired by ingredients selected by Meghan, while she advised them to cook from the heart and not forget to enjoy the process.
She stressed that, for her, food is a way of expressing love for family and those close to her.
