The full dynamics of the tragedy in the village of Vidhishtë in Roskovec, an event that ended with three victims, have been revealed. According to obtained information and collected testimonies, around 5:00 a.m. on Thursday, 35-year-old Refit Buzi, also known as Nertil Buzi, entered the Plaka family home armed with a shotgun.

At that moment, the spouses Kosta (Arben) and Belere Plaka were preparing to leave for work.
Immediately after entering the home, the perpetrator opened fire on the couple. Kosta Plaka died on the spot, while his wife, Belerie Plaka, was seriously wounded.
She was rushed to the Regional Hospital of Fier, where she underwent surgery lasting more than five hours, but she did not survive her injuries.
After the crime, the 35-year-old forcibly took the 24-year-old, with whom he had been in a relationship for nine years, and left through the back of the house.
He then headed toward the village of Kurjan, where after several hours of pursuit by police forces, he left the young woman free and unharmed.
The operation to capture the perpetrator continued for several hours. Despite ongoing negotiations with State Police officers, which lasted about seven hours, the 35-year-old refused to surrender and ultimately took his own life by committing suicide.
A story that began years ago as a relationship between two young people ended in the most tragic way, leaving behind three victims and two devastated families.
