Prime Minister Edi Rama’s resignation remains the protesters’ non-negotiable demand.

According to them, the rally aims to make it clear to lawmakers that citizens do not feel represented by the current parliament and expect the concerns they have raised to be addressed.

Holding placards and chanting against the government, participants have demanded political change and repeated the slogan, “You do not represent us!”

Activists said they want to show parliament that it does not represent them and that they are dissatisfied with the work of lawmakers. They also announced that they have prepared several interesting things for the coming days.

Citizens also gathered outside Parliament on Tuesday, chanting, “Parliament of crime,” “Rama, resign,” and “You do not represent us.”
